Preparations are underway for St Colums Drama Group’s latest production! This spring is a comedy - ‘The Same Old Moon’ by Geraldine Aron - a sometimes raucous, but very entertaining play. It features the story of Brenda Barnes, Who can’t wait to leave her dysfunctional family behind in the West of Ireland, and forge ahead with her writing career in the glamour of London. The diverse and eccentric charcters that are her family and friends make for an interesting story spanning 40 years - with Mother Superior giving 9 year old Brenda the key to the wonderous knowledge of procreation! The play will run for 2 nights at St SColum’s hall at Pearsons Bridge, Ballylickey, on the 19th and 20th April – tickets are available on the door, or at Burkes Gala, Kealkil, Cronins Supermarket, Ballylickey and other outlets to be announced. May not be suitable for young children.
