Cullinagh Graveyard Mass
Mass will be celebrated at Cullinagh Graveyard (weather permitting) on Thursday next, 27th September at 7.30pm.  In the event of weather problems, Mass will be celebrated in the Hospital Chapel.





Diocesan Pilgrimage to Gougane Barra Sunday 30th of September.
Rosary at 2pm. Mass at 2.30pm. In honour of St. Finbarr – one of the Patron Saints of the Diocese. All Welcome.

Died Recently
We extend our prayers & sympathy to the family, relatives and friends of Annie Keane (Glengarriff Road, & late of Coomleigh East, Bantry) who died on 20th September last. May she rest in peace.

We welcome them into our Christian Community
Parents Plus Parenting Programmes will be starting shortly in the Bantry area and there are still places available.
These Parents Plus Programmes are practical and positive parenting courses designed to support and empower parents to manage and solve discipline problems, to create satisfying and enjoyable family relationships and to help children and young people grow up and reach their full potential. The course runs for 8 weeks, two hours per session. There is no charge for the programme but a contribution of 3 to 5 euro a night would help to cover the cost of running the programme.
Early Years Programme (0 - 6 years) will be held on Monday evenings 7.30 - 9.30 pm.
Children's Programme (6 - 11 years) will be held on Tuesday evenings 7.30 - 9.30 pm.
Adolescent Programme (12 - 18 years) details have yet to be decided.

Bantry and District Cardiac Support Group
 Bantry Cardiac Support Group will resume their monthly meetings for the coming season on Tues Sept. 25th at The Family Resource Centre Main Street at 8pm.

A local practice nurse with experience in working with and supporting people with cardiovascular problems has been invited to give a talk on related topics:
Blood Pressure
How to read Blood test results
Effects of Medication (bring along list of medications)
Importance of Diet and Exercise etc.
If requested Blood Pressure can be checked on the night.

The meeting is for people who have suffered a cardiac event such as Heart Attack, Angioplasty with or without Stents inserted or who have had cardiac surgery (by-pass surgery mitral valve surgery etc.) or any Cardiac related concerns.

A programme of events for the coming season will also be discussed.
