Bantry Parish Mission
We welcome members of the St.
Patrick’s Community at all Masses in the parish this weekend.
From Monday through to Thursday
Mass will be celebrated at 7.30am and there will be 10.00am Mass, as usual,
every morning. Confessions will be available
during the week; therefore, there will be no Penitential Service before Easter.
Each evening will have a
different theme:
Monday night: God’s
Love 7:30pm
Tuesday night: God’s
Mercy 7:30pm
Wednesday night:
God’s healing 7:30pm
Thursday night: God’s
gift of Mary 7:30pm
Friday night: Mass of
the Holy Spirit 7:30pm
This Mission is for the whole
Parish – all are invited!
There is something
for everyone!
Heavenly Father,
We pray that our
Parish Mission may be a time of grace and renewal for all.
We ask you to bless
all the families in our Parish especially those who are experiencing
difficulties.
Bless the old, the
young, the poor, the sick, the unemployed and those in sorrow or despair.
Help us dear Lord to
grow in faith and love of you.

There
will be Mass of the Holy Spirit on Friday 13th March in Bantry Church
as part of the Parish Mission. Please
note there will be no 7.30pm Mass in Kealkil
Church on that night.
Stations of the Cross – Sunday, 5.00pm
The Stations of the Cross will be led by members of the Parish Assembly and others on the Sundays of Lent. We will gather to pray the Stations at 5.00pm each Sunday in St. Finbarr’s Church. Why not come and join us as we accompany Jesus on his journey to Calvary.

It is hoped to have Station Masses for Spring 2015 in March &
April. If you are thinking of hosting

There
will be a pro-life event outside the Dáil on Wednesday 11th March
from 7-8pm, challenging media bias on the abortion issue. In one fortnight
recently, 33 articles appeared in national newspapers pushing for more
abortion, with just 1 pro-life article during the same period. Please attend
this event. A bus travelling
through Glengarriff & Bantry to this event - for more information contact

Seskin Montessori & Pre-school will be holding an
Open Day on Thursday 12th of March 2015 from 12.30p.m. to 2p.m.

PATRICK & CONOR O' SULLIVAN DANCE: Comhairle Tuismitheoirí Scoil Mhuire welcomes
you all to oíche Rince, Ceoil & Craic in Óstán Ghobnatan, Baile Mhúirne on
Friday 13th March @ 10pm. Music is by Patrick & Conor O' Sullivan
& we hope this will be an enjoyable night out for young & old alike.

Bantry Development & Tourism is inviting
entries (Float or Walking groups) to take part in the Bantry St Patricks Day
Parade which will take place on Tues 17th at 12.30 in The Square.
Entry is free. Following the Parade there will be food and live music. For

St Colum's GAA: Registration evening on Monday, March 9th, from 6:30pm to
7:30pm, in St Colum's hall. All people who have not registered are asked to
register on the evening.
Naíonra Bheanntraí is holding an
Open Day on Wednesday 25 March 2015 at 11 am. There will be lots of fun
activities including an Easter Egg Hunt with the Easter Bunny. It caters for
children aged 2 years 8 months. Fees are subsidised and it also part
takes in the ECCE free pre-school year program. Further information, please contact the school

Fit-up Theatre Festival coming to
Glengarriff: The Blood in the Alley
Theatre Company, in association with Cork County Council, are pleased to
announce the first ever Spring Fit-up Theatre Festival in West Cork from March
4-15 on March 12 with a performance of “Postscript” by Noelle Brown and
Michelle Forbes. The play is performed by Noelle Brown and Brid Ni Neachtain,
two superb actors. The show starts at 8pm and tickets are 10/12 euro, only
available at the door.
Bingo
with A Jackpot will be held in Mealagh Valley
Hall on Thursday March 12th. at
8.00P.M.. The usual Bus Service will
run. Your continued Support is greatly appreciated.
The Mealagh Valley Community Centre will be
holding a Kids Quiz
on Friday 13th March from 8pm to 10pm. Age group 7-17 years.

West Cork Carers Support Group invite all Male family Carers for a Night at The
Dog Track! The trip to the Curraheen Park Greyhound Stadium will take place on
Saturday March 21st, transport will be provided. First race starts
